"Tara, the liberator from the eight fears"

Ven. Laura Coccitto, born in Italy, came to Tibetan Buddhism in 1980.

She worked as a primary school teacher and was involved with malnourished mothers and children in Africa. In 2001 she took the nun's vow. In 2004 she completed a seven-year course of study at the Lama Tzong Khapa Institute in Pomaia, and was one of the tutors of this program.

In 2003 she met H. H. Kyabgon Gongma Trichen Rinpoche, from whom she received the Lamdre in 2010 in Kuttolsheim. This was the first contact with Khenchen Sherab. She leads study groups in different centres.

By knowing their qualities, we turn to her to be freed from destructive emotions and thus overcome the eight fears that have arisen from our self-centeredness.
