Thubten Chodron

Ven. Thubten Chodron (Cherry Greene) is a senior female teacher in the FPMT (Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition), in the Gelukpa tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.

Her most current project is the founding of Sravasti Abbey, a place where monastics and those preparing for ordination can learn and practice according to the teachings of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.
